Dr Haston graduated with an MBChB in 2004 from the University of Glasgow. She has an extensive clinical background, with more than 20 years of experience in a wide range of clinical specialties. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice, and her roles have included a wide range of hospital-based acute specialties, then general practice and urgent care, with education and training responsibilities throughout. This broad education and medical background, coupled with communication and people management skills lends itself to her occupational health positions.

Since commencing work with Jem Health in 2019, Dr Haston has assisted in the ongoing growth and development of the pre-employment medical, injury management and health monitoring services. She works closely with all team members, clients and companies to ensure optimal service provision.

She has a Monash Certificate in Occupational Medicine and is a certified Medical Review Officer (MRO). She is an OEUK medical examiner, is an AHP for rail medicals and completes commercial drivers and health monitoring assessments.

Dr Jennifer Robson is an experienced medical practitioner with more than 25 years of clinical experience across general practice, occupational health and remote medical services in Australia.

A graduate of the University of Western Australia (MBBS), Dr Robson has extensive experience supporting the health and medical needs of employees working in remote and high-risk environments. For more than 15 years, she has provided on-call medical support to mine-site medics across Western Australia, managing both emergency and general practice presentations.

This experience has given Dr Robson a strong understanding of the clinical, operational and logistical challenges associated with delivering healthcare in remote workplaces. She applies this knowledge to occupational health assessments, workplace injury management and the evaluation of employees’ fitness for work, balancing clinical considerations with the practical requirements of employers and industry.

Dr Robson has been an accredited Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) medical examiner since 2010. She is also a certified Medical Review Officer (MRO), an Authorised Health Professional (AHP) for rail medical assessments, and conducts commercial driver medical assessments.

Since joining Jem Health in 2016, Dr Robson has played an important role in the development and expansion of its clinical services. Her expertise encompasses pre-employment medical assessments, work-related injury assessments, occupational health monitoring and fitness-for-duty evaluations.

Dr Robson works collaboratively with clinical colleagues, employers and industry clients to deliver high-quality, practical and responsive occupational health services. Her combination of clinical expertise, remote healthcare experience and understanding of workplace health requirements supports Jem Health’s commitment to effective, professional and client-focused medical services.

Dr Nawabi graduated from Kabul University in 1991, completing seven years of medical study and obtaining a Master of Medicine. She obtained her Australian Medical Council Certificate in 2009. Her medical background includes obstetrics and gynaecology, alongside general practice experience in Afghanistan and Australia.

She has worked in general practice across regional New South Wales, providing care in women’s and men’s health, chronic disease management, mental health and preventative medicine. Her clinical experience also includes skin checks, skin biopsies, minor procedures and wound management.

Dr Nawabi’s occupational health experience includes pre-employment medical assessments, the assessment and treatment of workplace injuries, and supporting patients with workers’ compensation claims. She has provided medical certification to assist return-to-work planning and coordinated treatment with specialists and allied health professionals.

Her background in clinical practice, community health, aged care and disability support brings a broad understanding of individual health needs and the importance of coordinated care.
